How to Set Up Dell Wireless Printer

Wireless printer has enabled printing facility to every device available in wireless range. It also helps to decrease cluttered wires connected to a printer and system. All you need is a secured Wi-Fi network and any Dell Wireless Printer. Dell offers a range of wireless printers which are easy to set up and use. To set up a Dell wireless printer, follow these steps:

Use the ‘USB cable’ to install the printer drivers in the computer
Make sure that your computer has access to wireless network.
Insert software installation disc and proceed with the installation of Dell Wireless Printer software. Follow the instructions.
Click the Start button>Programs>Dell Printers>Dell Printer Home
Click on “Settings” and then “Wireless Setup Utility”
Select your wireless network from the list of available networks and click “Continue.”
If your Wireless Network name does not appear on the list. Follow these steps:
– Click on ‘Unlisted Network’ and enter your network name

– Click ‘Continue’.

– Select the type of network security. Click ‘Continue’.

– The ‘Allow Dell Software’ window shows. Click ‘OK’

Enter your Wi-Fi network password. Click “OK” or “Continue.”
Disconnect the printer’s USB cable when prompted. Your wireless printer is now connected to your network.
If you experience any kind of problems after the set up of Dell Wireless Printer, you can troubleshoot your Dell printer to check for possible problems.
